Counting calories

Couple questions I cook a lot on the grill. I've heard weigh food before cooking. Does cooking on grill change that, due to the fact that fats drip off. Also how would you count corn on the cob grilled inches or pull off corn an weigh.

Lean cuts of meat, such as chicken breasts, will lose more water than fats during grilling. Fattier red meats will lose both water and fats. Very fatty ground beef patties will lose even more water and fats.
When possible, weigh the individual meat portions raw, then cook, and log the raw weight. If that is not possible, then weigh the portion of the cooked item and search for an entry in the database for cooked and log it that way. Add the word raw or cooked/roasted/grilled to your search to find the appropriate entry.
For corn on the cob, weigh the cooked corn on the cob, note the weight, after eating, weigh the cob and log the difference in weight for cooked corn.2 -

This is what I do, I had the same question but this is what works best for me.2
