Food Diary - review please ?

So I'm on day 70 here on MFP. Having some troubles meeting my protein macros. I don't track sodium since I'm usually way under the 2500.

I seem to be in a mushroom, onion, red pepper rut.

I am looking to lose another 10 pounds before I go on maintenance and that would leave me still smiling with my five pounds fluctuations.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Trying to do this with only walking as my exercise - trying a C25K, but my calves are fighting me the whole way so it's slow going.

I'm assuming you're not vegetarian, because I see you have chicken on there 3 days ago. For more protein, eat more lean meats: Chicken, Turkey, Fish. Greek yogurt is also VERY good for protein... usually like 19g or so. You could also do protein shakes to help bump it up.

Also, your calorie intake looks a bit low. You need to make sure you're always netting at least 1200 calories. You won't be getting anywhere if you don't fuel your body. Some days you're good on that, but others you're only sitting at like 1,000 calories.

    Hope this helps you.

Nope, not a vegetarian. Love my meats ! Thanks for the tips. I usually leave a 200 - 300 calorie buffer because I'm a nibbler. Also before I got my Fitbit I moved the same amount but never got the calorie credit for it and lost weight. Now that I get the credit for it and eat it back sometime I'm not losing so well.

egg whites with veggies n' cheese in the morning would give you a real bump in the protein dept. I try to eat that for breakfast most mornings. it's really filling. Basically proteins and fats are what fill you up. i'm low carb/high protein and left never very hungry. Since you're doing a regular diet you could skip the cheese and just go with your mushrooms red pepper and onions and it would probably be lovely.

For some reason eggs - even whole eggs - don't fill me up in the morning, just like Chinese food, hungry within 1 hour. Any other time of day they fill me right up.

My mother is dong low carb and it is working like a charm for her, I tried over the winter - starving the whole time. I've never eaten much bread/rice/pasta anyway so I thought it would be easy - nope - starving ! And it is amazing where you find carbs.
