Hello, I'm new here.
Well, I've been doing Insanity workout for 3 weeks now.
Also, I did it last year. I lost 15kg in only 4 weeks. Then I started to jump rope sometimes. I was at 96 kg, and now I'm at 76kg
I'm 19 years old.
My question is: can I do two insanity exercises per day? I'm on holidays now and I have nothing to do so I thought to do one exercise in the mornig and other in the evening.
Sorry for my english. Greetings from Croatia!

If you really want to, make sure you eat enough, maintain good form and stop if you start to injure yourself, there's no reason you couldn't but I probably wouldn't recommend it. I've seen a couple people do so on here in the past. Given how hard insanity is on your shoulders and knees, however, you might be better of doing something less high-impact as your second workout instead. Make sure you give yourself enough rest. Overtraining can cause serious injuries if you're not careful.0

thank you
and, I have another question. Is there any good exercise for losing fat on calves? My calves are very big because I was very fat one period.0 -
No such thing as spot reducing. Working out your calves will strengthen the muscles, but only eating at a healhty deficit will burn the fat. It'll come off when and where it likes, unfortunately. Insanity will help with that. It's a serious fat shredder.0

Doing Insanity 2x a day is not recommended as rest is just as important to the equation as work. High intensity workouts like Insanity need a lot of rest in between workouts because they are demanding not only on the muscles but also on the joints and on the nervous system.0

I agree about doing something different for a second workout. I am doing insanity at the moment too about 4 weeks in and I often feel like doing more. Sometimes I have been quite sore the following morning, especially as I am getting fitter and putting more into each session. I like to do some weights, bike riding, stretching or swimming for a second work out or rest day... oh and it get harder the second month so don’t get injured! :noway:0

can I do insanity by the calendar in the morning and in the evening cardio recovery?0

Technically you can do anything you want. But doubling up on Insanity workouts is not really advisable...
If you want to do something in the evenings, go for something with low impact or no impact, like swimming. But really, your body needs a break. If you overwork it you're pushing for an injury, and then you won't be able to workout at all.
Just be safe!
And remember if you do add in additional exercise you'll need to bump up your calorie intake.0 -
The bottom line is that Insanity is very tough on the joints already by itself. If you want to supplement it with additional exercise, you have to be very very careful in choosing what you do and be mindful of the fact that your joints are already attempting to recover from the pounding they took during Insanity.0

since I' ve started to work out, I'm very hungry. Like I eat something and for two hours I'm hungry again. is that normal?0

I personally wouldn't do two a day. I think once a day is enough. If you want to do something else then do something that is a bit easier going than insanity! Also, do you have a rest day? You should have one to give your body a chance to repair itself! I hate taking them but I know it's best for my body0

I think once a day Insanity is enough. What if you did some other form of exercise...talk a walk or hike, go for a bike ride, something that won't be as taxing on your body as Insanity. make sure you're taking your rest days too!0
