Wanted: friends for success!

Hi!
I've restarted getting back into shape and losing weight about a week ago. Reading (yet another) article on how having support and encouragement from others can significantly increase your chances of succeeding in making lifestyle changes made me look into the community here. I think I'd rather share this part of my life with internet strangers than the people in my life. So in short I'm looking for people with whom to trade little successes, share tips on what works for us, and generally keep up motivation.
I'm 30, female, and currently live in Finland. My specific goals for 2017 are to hit normal BMI (which for me means losing 25kg) and to complete a half-marathon (the longest I've ever run so far is 10K). Overall my goal is to become better at living healthily.
The past week I (sporadically) used the app to count calories, which helped me make better meal and snack choices. I also tried to eat mindfully as often as possible, meaning no computer or TV or phone while eating. I've lost 1.4kg as of this morning (though mostly just water I'd imagine). My plan is to weigh in once a week. Starting later today I'll start running again, at first once a week for half an hour.
I'd love to connect with people in a similar situation or with similar goals or methods. I want to approach this lifestyle change with a positive and self-compassionate attitude, I hope to find similarly minded people here.
Happy Easter all!
