Just trying to be good here

Hello, I've been on myfitnesspal before and kind of fell off somewhere.
I'm not home a lot, our family is always on the run and it's hard to eat healthy, we eat out quite a lot on the weekends, and on top of that my 14 year old son needs help putting on weight so I'm always keeping that in mind for his meals.
Any ways, just picked back up on resistance training and trying to run. Been a little rough trying to make sure I find the time, but love it so much.
As for eating I'm trying to fit in as much healthy low calorie foods as I can. Trying to lose weight but mostly trying to make sure I'm eating healthier foods and stopping my terrible bingeing habit. I have a love for sweets and I can seriously binge like a crazy person. I've been learning a lot about macros and realized that if I try to incorporate more protein in my foods it definitely helps!

Hi! It's hard to cook for yourself and different meals for other family members. I try to make meals for me and my husband. Then my little ones need to put on weight. And my youngest is allergic to eggs, milk, and peanuts, cashews, and pistachios. It sounds like you're doing a great job!0

Yes definitely hard to cook for multiple people when your diet goal is different than everyone else. For me and my my S/O it is hard because he works outside 12+ hours a day so he has to have high carbs high protein meals. I have started to just cook something healthy and then add something easy like potatoes, bread, or pasta to his meal. Luckily he doesn't like dessert that much so I am not tempted by dessert0
