Are rest days beneficial/necessary for your body or does it matter if you workout 7 days a week?

    Rest days or active rest days are necessary if you have been training to accumulate fitness, yes. Your body needs that time.

    If you're doing HIIT properly, you can't do it 7 days a week

    At 45 minutes I bet it's not really true HIIT.

    Describe your program and goals in detail for relevant advice.

    Training 7 days a week can be fine or it can be a mistake. As others have said - depends.....

    True I should've explained better-6 minute warmup, 28 minute HIIT, 9 minute stretch/recovery

    Regardless of what exercise you do, rest is important, but you probably shouldn't be doing HIIT every day anyway.
