Does MFP include 'floors climbed' information from Garmin Connect in it's calorie adjustments?

Hi. I have a Garmin Fenix 3, which records both my steps and floors climbed. In MFP, it doesn't mention anything about the floors climbed, only the steps, so I'm assuming that MFP does not include the stairs in its calculations. Is that correct? I regularly climb and descend like thirty floors a day or more when I'm at work so it may make a sizable difference.

Thanks!

I'm not 100% sure about Garmin, but I know with other trackers it's just a fun stat and not used in calorie burn calculations (reason: changes in air pressure during a storm can register as floors climbed).

Your adjustment from Garmin though won't just include steps. It's a comparison of what Garmin tracked your burn to be and MFPs estimate based in activity level.

Garmin tracked burn (full day) - MFP estimated burn based on activity level selection = adjustment

I wouldn't trust stairs on Garmin, I've climbed none today and it shows as six, other times i've climbed 15 and it shows 8
