Have been diagnosed with NASH which is non alcoholic steatohepatitis...another stage of fatty liver disease and also diabetes. Need to lose weight to get these things into a better controlled position. Have no idea what to eat? What seems to be good good for one condition does not seem to be good for the other. Anyone else have this situation? Looking for suggestions.

Did your doctor mention diet when you got the diagnosis?

Lots of greens, veg, whole grains, lemon water, eggs are excellent for the liver,I was a super heavy drinker before so my liver isn't the greatest, these are what I was told anyways, avoid fried foods too hard in the liver

A registered dietitian will be helpful. Call your doctor.

Thanks for the replies. Yes, each doctor (liver specialist, endocrinologist) each said to lose weight with a healthy diet and to excercise. When I try to get the correct diet I see that is good for one disease is not good for the other. I have gotten the name of a dietician and I intend to call her. Hope she can put me on the right eating track. I have lost about 8LBS in the last month. So, hopefully, off to a good start. Thanks for your input...appreciated.
