Any One trying Intermittent Fasting

I am currently fasting 16 hours a day, eating for 8 hours. Stop eating at 8pm and start eating at 12 noon. I am watching all simply carbs and walking 6 days a week 3 miles and out of the six days I am doing 5 mile walks.
I would like to incorporate weights at least 2 days out of the 6 days I am walking. I rest 1 day from exercise.
Any suggestions is welcome. Thank you.

Not trying - I've been IF for several years 16:8 daily. Lost weight, sometimes gained weight but mostly maintained weight with it. I don't consider IF a diet, as I don't consider sleep a form of exercise.
There are a lot others on here that do variations of IF. There are also a few very active groups.

My fellow does that. We eat no later than 7, and he doesn't eat again till lunch at 11:30 the next morning. Drinks a cup of black coffee for breakfast.1

It's an eating strategy...if your goal is to lose weight it still comes down to Calories In vs. Calories Out1 -
Tried it,... hated how I always felt hunger, and dropped it. Now I just eat 3 large meals a day.0
