Honestly the most filling thing I eat tends to be hard boiled eggs. They're just so heavy!

Same here, 2 boiled is eggs is more then enough to fill me up, and yet i can eat 6 eggs if they're in scrambled form easily.

Isn't that weird how some foods are more filling in different forms?

Gizzards. "Go Chicken Go" gizzards from the original restaurant in Kansas City, Kansas. Side of mash too.

Satiety definitely has a high degree of individual variability.

That being said, the white potato does quite well for many people.

I finally was able to open this. (The other device I was on can be ineffective with links.) I did hear about this study but I've never read it. I had heard about it on YouTube but you know how it's hard to judge things without the research

    Would a piña colada count?
One of those and I don't need dinner.

    Cheers, h.

I was wrong, so terribly wrong.

    Cheesecake wins.

I, the cheesecake queen, got a slice of Easter egg cheesecake for desert tonight, yes, it had Cadbury creamed egg involved. It was big (450g) so thought I would have half.

Sat down with it, and a cup of coffee, 2 hr after dinner- I couldn't finish it. :'( So sad.

Half of my half is now sat in the fridge patiently waiting for tomorrow.

    Cheers, h.
if there was a plant based Cadbury egg, I'd probably die alone in my apartment in a puddle of Chocoate eggs

Boiled potatoes refrigerated for a few hours after cooking. Pretty sure even my volume eating *kitten* would end up on starvation tier kcals if I consumed them exclusively.

Cheesecake for me too. A little piece goes a long way, but I don't eat it very often anymore.

So I have to say stir fry with a lot of veggies and chicken, no rice.

Cheesecake doesn't fill me up one bit - I wish! at least then I could make a meal out of it...

    Oranges for me.

Maybe it has to do with foods that force you to eat more slowly? More chewing.... Peeling for example...

They say many people eat so fast the signals that we are full don't come until we're actually over-full. I tend to eat fast, so i'm sure it's true for me.

Beans and rice fill me up for sure.
