So I lost 100 lbs. over the last year following an extremely restricted diet of zero carbs and high protein however I'm realizing it's not sustainable long term & I ended up giving myself kidney stones & an eating disorder and being afraid of food. Wondering if this is a good way to acclimatize myself to a regular schedule of healthy eating. Thoughts? Success stories? Opinions? Other recommendations?

There are a lot of us that follow a flexible diet, but at the end of the day, don't restrict yourself to one style or eating or the next. Eat foods that you enjoy and that keep you full. I personally concentrate on calories and protein. Outside of that, I am pretty much just eating whatever. Although, i tend to get more carbs since they satiate me the most.

The idea is to do whatever works best for you in order to help you keep a healthy weight long term. Once you figure out what macro ratio keeps you satisfied within your calorie limits, yes IIFYM is a great way to do that.
