How many do you do in 1 min? I can't get past 32

    Zero. I prefer planks, all variations. They work much better for me than sit ups do, but everyone is different.

    Same here, tore up my back doing situps. Now I do crunches, side crunches, and lots of planks, side planks, etc. instead.

    I don't do them either - they're bad for your back. Crunches, planks, and pushups are what I do.

    I have a relatively young back. I'll check it out this afternoon.
