Goal is to maintain weight & caloric intake

I lost my goal weight and layers of fat. I do well to maintain my sodium, fat and sugar daily intake but am always about 400g below my daily calorie count which is worrying. What foods should I be consuming to get the correct amount of calories each day?

I would take a close look at what is happening to your weight rather than be concerned over the habitual lower total calorie count. If your weight is staying the same, you are maintaining. If you are continuing to lose weight but don't want to lose any more, than go ahead and slowly increase your intake.
However, I have a question ...
your say you are "but am always about 400g below my daily calorie count" ... so that 400g is how many calories and what grams are you looking at? Once you know how many calories you are under, and STILL LOSING, then you can better judge what to add.
The simple answer is to just eat a little more either by making each meal slightly larger or by adding in a snack.0 -
If you were overweight once, you already know how to add calories. Continue to educate yourself on nutrition and find out about macros. Protein, Carbs and Fat. I used to just track calories but now that I know about these macros, I am feeling better than ever. Sending you a friend request.0
