Plan of action?

Over the past year I have lost 40 pounds. It's taken that long because in the fall I put on 15 while my kids were all playing there sports and life got busy so I got sidetracked. All that to say I've been back on track for about two months and am doing good. I'd like to lose another 50 pounds to get to my goal weight. I work out for 30 minutes to an hour everyday whether it being zumba classes, treadmill, neighborhood walks, or some very light strength training.

I have an idea of what I'd like my body to look like when it's all said and done and it seems like weight training is the way to get there. But where the confusion comes in is whether I should focus on doing that now or continue losing weight first? Any one have any advice or information on this subject? I can't find a clear answer.

Start lifting now. Ease into it. While you're losing weight, you're also losing muscle mass, and you'll slow that part down by lifting.
