HI guys ! How do you track your progress? Pictures? If so, how often? A scale? Again, how often? I don't want to discourage myself but I want to be able to track my progress.

I do pictures when I hit a goal (at least 10 lbs) just to compare, I weigh once a week and measure once a week.

I weigh daily, but use a trend app like Libra. I take pics maybe once a month.

I weigh weekly, track on MFP and excel using a trendline, and measure monthly using the same methods.

Right now, I am just going by how I feel, the mirror and my progress at the gym. I only have about 10 lbs to lose and my weight loss goal is set to about 0.5 lb loss a week, so it's hard to measure my successes with the scale or even measurements. I am a visual person, so last year I did use pictures about twice a month.

I weigh myself every morning. I really wish I had some "before" pictures to look back on but at the time I was too disgusted with myself to take any.

I am the same way, I literally had to dig through a family members facebook page to find a picture of me at my heaviest because I avoided cameras.

I'm not doing pictures. I weigh in every morning to check trends and measure myself once every two weeks or so. Also keeping an eye on clothes and how they fit and comparing them to measurements. Sometimes, clothes feel more loose even if measurements haven't changed much in those areas.

I just really do not find myself being photogenic most days and well.. I think the progress photos would honestly be more discouraging than encouraging (for me).
