I have been on a binge for foods lately especially sweets....I guess I am under alot of stress but I don't feel like I am stressing although I have so much going with work, school and my younger sister being in the hospital ( who all most lost her life) and not to mention my favorite aunt who has stage 4 breast cancer. Today, I finally made appointment with psychologist to talk with regarding my issues, I can not continue to live my life on foods it make me more depress. My question is does anyone take antidepressants for binge eating disorder or any other kind of reason. If so, what kind? My consider is I'm afraid of taken antidepressants if it's going to make you gain weight because I hear it can make gain weight

I can't answer your questions about the medication, but I can say that I've been there, and return frequently. My stress manifests itself a lot in binging and "cravings". I, however, am too afraid to make an appointment. So, I commend you on taking that step, and I wish you the very best of luck.1
