A moment of truth. First out of state trip/conference since losing 126+lbs

I'm just going to go ahead and bring the majority of my own food with me so I can continue logging and having control of my calories. I won't be able to go to my nightly martial arts classes so I'm going to supplement with a jump rope and tibatas body weight exercises (plus whatever treadmill / gym i find at the hotel).

I have just a little less than 15lbs to go to hit my goal weight. I am determined to keep that scale moving in the right direction.

But it's scary! I won't be weighing myself for a whole week, and my whole routine will be on the fly. Time to put personal responsibility to the test!

(If anyone else is hitting up drupalcon, say hello!)

Thank you! I feel like I'm the verge of being a fish out of water. I find a lot of comfort in having a daily routine. This is going to be completely out of my comfort zone.

You may be out of your comfort zone, but it is good practice for when you reach maintenance, which you are so close to. Congrats.

You have prepared well, so go with confidence. Have in mind that you would have to eat 3500 cals over your maintenance each day to go seriously off track, and that things can get side tracked, accept that it may happen at a conference.

If you are flying, or going to a warmer temp, or eat the odd unplanned meal with higher sodium, you may have a few pounds extra water weight when you get home. Don't panic- it will go within the week.

    Cheers, h.
