Has anyone upped their calories after getting thinner?

So I've successfully gone down from 160 pounds at 5 foot 8.5 to 135ish and I really didn't mind eating that way because I was super motivated but now that I'm a little less motivated for the last few, would it be reasonable to add in an extra couple hundred calories a day to finish up? The thought of increasing kind of scares me because I really want to get back to have a flat tummy and wearing all my old clothes but I just don't feel as motivated these days haha

I increased my calories as I lost weight, until eventually I stopped losing weight and went the other way. For me (5-7, 145#) that was at 2100. Go slowly, but give it a shot.3

personally and depending on how long you have been in a deficit then I would take it a step further and have scheduled diet breaks where you eat at maintenance for 12-14 days then finish up. There is some great Info here on diet breaks and they're really critical to long periods of wieght loss to "reset" hormones.
I didn't do this and crashed hard in week 31. granted I hit my goal but I decided to try and cut even more but my cravings became life changing. life consuming. even tho I was fine on the same cals previously. I figure my letpin hormones were all out of wack. Way better after a 1 month "break"3 -
Add them back 100/week until you hit maintenance and consider taking a diet break. Start again and set yourself to lose .5lb week max. It'll happen over time, you have your whole life to eat at or around maintenance cals so ease in1

i upped mine. Was on 1200 a day only going up to 1400 on active days for 9-10 months. Now that im on the high end of a BMI and i think i look pretty damn good + im alot more active ill eat more like 1500-1800 average. Granted its well below what i burn still so not sure if it counts. I have noticed im alot more willing to be lax with tracking some days, And go out to eat or drink if i want to. Not that i didnt always but im sure you know what i mean.
I think for me its a mix of feeling confident in my own skin so the huge rush is gone, Wanting to sort of slow my loss to allow my skin to tighten as i lose the last bit, And overall just being alot more active now that im fit so i generally just get more.3
