Desperate

I'm so desperate to lose weight.

I'm definitely one of those start diet and working out people who have to re-start a billion times. I'm addicted to pop, which doesn't help and I'm trying. I'm actually happy with my weight it's just my breasts I'm furious with. When I was 120 and was more muscular they were non existent and it was great. Now I'm 125, out of shape, and they're huge.

I just need the motivation and support and guilt tripping to keep me on track. I have a month to lose 10 pounds for when my parents are down for my graduation.

I now bike to work/school (at least 8 km a day) and I'm going to start swimming as well again. Any other tips??? Help.

I'm sorry but I'm a little confused, did you gain 5 lbs and that made your breasts huge? That seems a little odd (at least to me). If you keep a strict regime you should be able to knock 10 pounds in your required timeframe. Maybe you should add some strength training.

Sorry, after a couple years of not keeping up with the same amount of physical activity as I did before I gained went from 120 to 135. And then I've gotten it back down to 125 but there's no change in breast size and I still generally feel like I hate my body.

From 125 to 120 is just a small step forward. Just be patient and add some strength training to your routine. Be positive and patient because that will definitely help you out. Maybe you should read the success stories section to see how people have achieved their goals with hard work.

Not to be contradictory (and as a father of daughters I'm very cautious about talking to young women about their self image), but I think it's important to give your body the credit it's due. It may not be what you want it to be right now, but it's pretty amazing nonetheless. Maybe it's not the best parallel, but consider how hard it would be to train an animal that you hate. You wouldn't have the patience for it, the animal would sense that, and the training just wouldn't take. You'd also be more inclined to motivate by fear and punishment rather than reward. I think of you love your body to begin with, you're patient with it, and you reward its successes you'll see more progress and be happy with how awesome your body really is.

You had plenty of advice here.

Be realistic at what you can achieve in such a short time line.
Even if you lose weight if you have more breast tissue than fat you may not lose any volume in your breasts.

Learn to love what you have.

    Cheers, h.

    Large breasts. Hmmm.

I fail to see a problem here.

Your self-loathing, however, is a problem. Be kind to yourself.
