Need Jean shopping help!

Looking for petite jeans to fit my new shape? As a young woman, I was a classic hourglass with a 12 inch difference between waist and hips, but after gaining and losing 140lbs and going through menopause, my waist is only 6 inches smaller than my hips now. (Still have a fatty apron, and my bum fell down!)

Any suggestions for reasonably priced jeans (under $50/pr)? Comfy tummy control with tush lift would be my preference.

    Head to the mall and try them all on. All of them. Seriously, jeans are pretty much the devil for everyone, no matter their size or shape. I have a 26" waist and 38" hips and the only jeans I've found that fit me are Gap curvy fit...but it took a lot of trying on to figure that out. Good luck!

    This is probably the best advice. Also, I've found that even trying them on in the store doesn't mean they're going to work once you're walking and being active. Actually, I have recently sworn off jeans all together. I don't think I'll ever buy another pair.
