i find a simple "no thanks" works wonders.

Ha i can say "no thanks" 50 times to my husband when he asks me if i want whatever snack he's making.. He will then walk in with a plate for me anyway  Why he bothers to ask me in the first place is beyond me! He'll open a bag of chips, and will throw a couple on my lap. Sometimes I'll eat them, sometimes i'll throw them right back him! I swear we look like a pair of seagulls at times lol

His reasoning is that he feels bad eating in front of me. He equates food with love and caring about someone, whereas i do not!

My husband is very similar! Quite often he'll pick something up when we're shopping (a box chocolates for example) and say 'Just so you know, BEFORE I would have bought this for you. Just because I knew you'd like it. Now I won't. But I want credit for thinking of you!'

I would direct him to a bunch of flowers that he can buy me instead

Probably just living their normal lives.
I was raised that if you are eating or drinking around others it is polite to offer some to everyone. It does not mean you want them to eat or drink what you have just because you offer it.
Even if you are not tempted perhaps you call their food crap or act like your food is superior and it irritates them so they ARE putting it in your face more. Perhaps you should look at your attitude about food and what other people do and change how you interact about it.

My family members do not need to lose weight and have different calorie needs from me. They sometimes have food or drinks that would be difficult to fit in my goals. I don't feel ill will from them if they eat a bowl of ice cream, chips or have a soda. They sometimes offer me things. If I don't want it I say no thanks. No one cares.
