So I just bought a fitbit charge 2, and I was wondering if I'm supposed to log my exercises or since I'm wearing this and it's counting steps and tells me cals burned if i just go off of that? Also, are they pretty accurate, should I eat back any of the calories it's telling me I've burned ? Thanks in advance.

No, you don't log exercise in addition to what Fitbit is giving you. I find my Fitbit pretty accurate, but it takes a little while for Fitbit to get to know you and your activity/ habits. Give it a couple weeks.

I am a recent convert as well.

I have sync'd my Charge2 to MFP and eat back some of them as required but I have heard they are pretty accurate based on my friends list.

I log my exercise on it. I have setup the 7 "quick" entries on my bank where you hold down the button to time it.

I don't log any exercise on MFP as it doubles up on the Fitbit app otherwise. I did in the beginning because I felt it should cross over, but it evidently doesn't and isn't meant to so other than the steps which MFP does log, I don't log anything else. That way I also don't get lulled into eating more calories, even if I'm gaining them thru exercise.

Sync your fitbit to mfp, it's set and forget
