So are wonderful EPA has allowed Monsanto to double the amount of chemical used on farm-grown foods. This is really scary stuff. Check out the very small write up

    The whole Monsanto thing is scary - all kinds of chemicals they're putting into our food, not having to include it in labeling, etc. The Monsanto Protection Act that was snuck into a short term funding measure to avoid a government shut down gives the USDA the power to allow the planting, harvest and sale of genetically engineered crops, even if a court rules that they were not properly approved. Short of a Presidential veto, it's a definite victory for genetically enhanced foods. In my view, sneaking in that biotech rider was a crime and Senator Mikulski of Maryland should be ousted for the back alley deal.
