Hi, I'm really interested in starting crossfit but do you think you need a certain high level of fitness to start it?? I think I'm too fat and unfit.

Thanks

Absolutely not. Crossfit is completely scalable, which is why there are coaches who will work with you. Go to a free class and try it out. Talk to the coaches there.

No you don't need to already be fit.

    Definitely not.
The Crossfit YouTube channel just posted a video about a 70-year-old British veterinarian who was so out of shape and weak he thought he was going to have to retire, which he did not want to do. Spoiler alert: He has done it and is getting better and better and better.

crossfit scales to your needs, and if the box you go to doesn't, find one that will.

Start now, scale the workouts and work on your form now on all your lifts. You will be thankful that you learned good form now while still doing lighter weight.
