Trying to develop some sense of willpower

Hi fellow MFPers,
Per the title.
I fell of the wagon this Easter weekend. 2lbs back on as a result of eating too much chocolate and cheese. It was good, but I am kicking myself now. Wish I was one of those people able to eat what they want within an active lifestyle, but that just isn't me. Gym's good though, enlisted the help of a PT 2 months ago as I cannot possibly be worse than the week before, so that's always a nice little drive to keep going. And, in fairness, the exercise is fine. Don't get me wrong, I find it a real challenge (because my cardio levels are so utterly rubbish), but it's going well.
Been using MFP on and off, though much more in the last month or two since PT-ing. Trying to get my macros looking better (how on earth does anyone get a 40% protein intake without the help of protein shakes?), and trying to keep to a reasonable calorie intake (BMR is currently just over 1600).
I should add that, although I mention a 2lb weight gain, I am not fixated on weight loss. I mainly track my progress through body fat & muscle mass percentages, and waist and belly circumference measurements.
Any tips are gratefully received - especially if they help build willpower.
So yes, that's me. Also keen to maybe buddy up with fellow tall people. I am 5'10", 31YO female, and currently 181.2lbs. I have a body fat percentage of 29.9 and would love to get that down to the low twenties if I can. Though I like my food far too much so mid twenties might be more realistic...
