Big Lifestyle Change

After smoking for 40 years I finally succeeded and QUIT 3 years ago. I gained weight slowly through the first year and some of the second. Plantar fasciitis hinders walking any distances and at 256 pounds running would not be an option. So I bought a bike! Began tracking my food intake and be careful with my choices. Since February 9th I have lost 20 pounds and have ridden my bike over 400 miles keeping track of them with Map My Ride. The sync of exercise into MFP is a great help even though I try not to eat into my calories burned! If you are honest with yourself.... I mean really honest, participating with these apps just make goals so attainable and fun in the process!
