Hello! I'm Brittany. I'm 25 years old and working on getting fit/ loosing weight to feel and be healthy again. I use to have a pretty active metabolism. Around 6 years ago I moved states and started a more stressful job. Overtime I started to gradually gain weight. My biggest problem was stress eating. I also ate when bored at home. In 2015 I started a desk job that I was at for around 9 hours a day. I ate a lot of junk food, because there was a convenience store near me and I never had time to eat a full meal. It got the worst last year when I gained 15 pounds in 4 months, putting me at 165 pounds. I know at my height of 5'1" that's not a good place to be. I've tried multiple diets and exercises to loose weight and I always give up. I got frustrated when I cut everything that was sugar out of my diet, couldn't make it in time to the gym to exercise, and ultimately I never saw results. Since the beginning of the year I've resolved myself to fully complete what I started. I'm proud to say I've lost 12 pounds since the beginning of the year and plan on reaching my goal of around 125-130 pounds.
I feel like it would be super helpful if I could get a nutritionist/personal trainer to help me the rest of the way. I work at a job that I rarely get to eat at and I'm usually there 6 plus hours a day. I've noticed lately that I fall below 1000 calories a day. I do eat when I'm hungry, but eating is mostly planned around if I have time. I have a dumbbell set, jump rope, and a medium tension resistance band. The problem areas I have are around my pits, lower stomach area, and upper pelvic area. My left wrist can't support a lot of weight though (ex: push-ups), because of a previous injury. Also how often I should work out if I'm trying to loose 20 pounds. I'm consuming around 1000-1200 a day depending on if I work that day or not. Any recommendations on an exercise routine that would be best to loose weight and tone as well as some fairly easy/basic meals I could make at home would be appreciated. (Hopefully not expensive. >_>)
Thanks!
