Question regarding calories burned

I have dropped my calorie intake to 1200 so I can hopefully lose 2.5 lbs a week. When I work out (i.e. burn 300 calories) should I eat up too 300 calories extra since I have already decreased my initial intake? I am usually starving after I work out.

    Ideally, yes you should be eating your exercise calories back. But why are you aiming for 2.5 pounds a week? That's quicker than MFP's maximum goal. What are your stats?
