The final few pounds

Note: I realize you can't pick where you lose your weight.

I have about 3-5 pounds left to lose before I think I'm at my ideal weight. I hold most of that in my stomach. It's endlessly frustrating to work out (read: cardio) and see no results. Should I be lifting weights or doing floor work (crunches, etc.) to get rid of this bump? What do I do?

Again, I know I can't target one particular area. But I'd like advice on how to go from here to kick this last stretch in the butt.

Right now, my go to cardio is either the elliptical or running (starting small, recovering from an injury that cropped up while training for a half marathon). In a perfect world, I could have a plan for what to do each day consistently to see results. For some reason, the final stretch is the hardest!
