Encouraging Word....
Only two more days for round 2 let's make the most of it! Settle down. Take a break from thinking about things that worry you. Look at life through new eyes! Be kind to yourself. Stylishly late! But I'm joining in.

4-29 Weight this am 153.8 So far I've lost almost 9 pounds. I'm averaging about 1# a week despite low carb and lean protein and exercise. Sigh. The joys of being post menopausal.
4-30 Really watched my carbs yesterday. Lots of protein shake and chicken breast. I actually weighed in at 151.8 this morning. 2# down! Of course I know I'll fluctuate up and down for a bit. That seems to be my pattern. But it's still a thrill. Inspired me to be extra conscientious today. Off to the elliptical.

HEY EVERYONE...ITS POSTED!!! I have our JUST GIVE ME 10 DAYS | ROUND 3 on the discussion board! Come along if you can!
One note that I just mentioned on the ROUND 3 challenge is this....
Weighing yourself everyday is controversial, but for me checking the scale can be motivating. I read in a study of 3,500 people who maintained 60 or more pounds of weight loss for at least a year, researchers from the National Weight Control Registry found that 44 percent weighed themselves every day. Another study in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine found that overweight people are six times more likely to lose weight if they weigh themselves at least once a day.
So there you have it!! I only weigh once a day. I know our weigh fluctuates minute by minute with what we drink or consume, so only once a day I advocate. Have fun with the small goals everyday....but don't be consumed with consumption! Enjoy life---that is only once a day too!0 -

As others have said, good job folks, and keep it up either way, up or down. Just keep trying daily. Happy with my progress but I think it might still be a bit too aggressive even though I increased my daily calorie goal...will up it again for the next 10
