Hey all!!
I'd love some advice on some workouts. I used to workout a lot but now I'm starting over, so I need help setting up a routine.
What's a good way to start?
Thanks and feel free to add

start with vids from youtube... create the habit... there are tons of bodyweight exercises and movements to get you going in the right direction... primary is upping the cardio capacity... get used to the endorphins and adrenalin that goes along with working at your maximum threshold... think about everything in 12 week cycles... give whatever you do and try... 12 weeks to determine the benefits of that work or to measure the progress... do not rely solely on weight as a measurement of your success... take "before pictures" and record some basic measurments... remember everything takes time... so tracking stuff every 12 weeks will be a better barometer of your success than stepping on a scale every other day... or every day... weight fluctuates by 5-7 pounds with just diet and water intake... if you are in calorie reduction mode remember that the body is indiscriminate... along with fat loss you will lose muscle mass as well as your body compensates for the reduced calorie intake and increased activity level... you will be prone to mood swings over the first 3-6 weeks if you are also trying to eat within your macros... 2 last things... be forgiving of yourself... good habits take time.. you are likely to miss a work out here and there... just shake those off and get on with it... and lastly be very patient... I know I didn't become the lazy fatty I found in the mirror a few years ago overnight.. I gained about 1/4 pound a month over 10-12 years... and while I am optimistic that I will regain far more energy, strength and stamina as I travel this path... I know it will take time to get there... maybe NOT 10 years... BUT all the same... be patient and know that you are doing this for yourself... now go get you some sweat!!!1
