Since I've been dieting and losing weight (about 4 weeks now) only down 9 pounds. seems like I barely want to eat, but when I do eat, I eat healthy. But I get full quick. Is that normal?

Did you change your diet to include more fruits and vegetables? That will do it.1

@Tiny_Dancer_in_Pink yeah, but very little serving sizes. I usually eat like 2 servings of fruit and day and 1 serving of veggies. It's not that much since im just starting.0

It could be the dieters honeymoon period. The excitement, motivation and weight loss "adrenalin" can sometimes cause you to feel full on little food.
It happened to me when I first started dieting, but it soon wore off.10 -
Just wanted to add that 9 lbs in 4 weeks is more than 2 lbs per week, and that is FAST weight loss, no only about it!4

This. Its a mental thing likely, Your very excited to lose and in your brain it sees that and wants to lose more. For now its a more exciting concept thn delicious food. Careful to eat enough so when it passes you dont turn to binging. Successful weight loss is about keeping the excitement in tact. Try new things, Change up a macro, Explore new exercise, Find a new workout buddy. Im kind of drunk so likely not making sense btu my point is its just excitement and your seeing its a powerful tool. Abuse it as long as you can ;D4 -
Unfortunately for me it's a real issue. I'm a recovered anorexic and once I start with a calorie restriction I have to remind myself to eat...I don't feel a lot of hunger cues...not saying that's the same for you OP, but there are days I could eat 600 calories and not "feel" hungry...meanwhile I may be lightheaded or feel "airy" as I put it....make sure you hit your calorie goals for the week.5

@Christine_72 honestly though it's not like that. I'm not excited, or that motivated to lose weight like that. I only started eating healthy to feel comfortable physically because I was miserable. I'm more shocked that I've even lost weight than anything else.0

I believe that once I started eating foods that nourished my body I stopped feeling desperate for food, if that makes sense? I was living on carbs and sweets and breads and cereal before I started this. Once I was getting fruits and vegetables and a reasonable amount of protein, I didn't have that "keep eating" feeling all the time.
In the years since I've lost my weight I find that still to be true for the most part. If I am nourishing my body's needs, I am not looking for the next thing.
I dunno, maybe there is something to my theory, maybe not. Seems legit to me.5 -
Enjoy it while it lasts.2

@cmriverside SAME HERE! all I ate was carbs and sweets. Same is happening to me as far as not wanting to eat. I was actually "satisfied"1

@JasmineDiver22 how many calories are you averaging everyday?0

This week seems about 1000. Due to just not being hungry. I force myself to eat these past few days honestly. But usually I average 1200-1300 before this week.0

It sounds like you may just be used to inflated portion sizes, so a healthy portion seems small to you. As others said above, the increase in dietary fiber is probably why you are getting full so quickly.
If you feel comfortable eating around 1200 calories a day (give or take), and you aren't having any negative side effects like lightheadedness, fatigue, or irritability, you should be fine. Check with your doctor if you keep losing weight at such a fast pace, though. 9 pounds in 4 weeks is a lot!0
