Help with stubborn fat!

Hi everyone!

I'm new here and I decided to sign on to see if i could get help with a very specific problem. I am 29 years old and have been eating clean (5 small meals a day) and exercising on and off for most of my adult life and steadily for the past year. I weight 108lbs for 5'7, which is considered mildly underweight but my body refuses to do what i wish it would. Let me explain: I am definitely a pear shape, a small one but still a pear, and my upper body ends up looking stick thin, although quite fit, but my lower body remain gross and flabby regardless of all the exercise. I am aware it's impossible to spot reduce and I told myself that if i kept up the good work my lower body would eventually get with the program and start toning up but the layer of stubborn fat in my upper thighs simply refuses to go away. I do not wish to lose more weight, I would even be ok with gaining some if it meant my lower body would stop being so flabby. In terms of work out, I do cardio and weights 4-5 times a week, i don't focus on any special muscle groups, I do mostly full body work outs. I am really committed to this so if anyone has some pointers on how to lose the stubborn fat and look fitter I need all the help I can get!

Thanks in advance!!!

Some people I see in the gym don't work very hard. And when they lift weights, they don't lift very much (like 5-10 pounds). But they spend a lot of time in the gym.

If that sounds like you, maybe switch things up a bit. Do intervals on the cardio, rather than 30 minutes of meh. Lift weights that you can't do more than 12 reps with. And eat so your body can "tone" out.
