I started my weight-loss journey in 2015. As of last year I lost 50 pounds. I found out I had a thyroid issue the doctor put me on meds. Well this February she upped my dosage. I have gained 15 pounds since the beginning of February. I am ready to just stop taking the meds. But I know I can't. Any advice?

I would talk to your doctor about your concerns. He may be able to give you some tips on things that help when you have this issue. I know it's tough, I had a friend go through the weight gain too and she struggled. When she finally got her medication regulated she was able to come up with what worked for her :)

I know it's hard to hear, but it's still calories in vs calories out. If your thyroid is slow and your metabolising 200 less calories a day than you used to, then you need to drop your calories, there's no real other way. The hard part is with low thyroid is battling the low energy levels, but at the end of the day it's still calories in vs calories out, even if sometimes we have to drop them lower.
