Hello everyone, I'm new here and am really looking forward to a healthier lifestyle. My net calories are 1250 but when I exercise I notice the MFP says I can eat the calories I burn. To lose weight am I suppose to do that or stay within the 1250. Have a kickass day MYP Fam.

My story...
My name is Evelyn and as I attempt to lose my goal of 35lbs I still find myself baffled that I even have weight to lose.
I was always the girl that was too skinny. When I say too skinny I mean 98lbs and going to my Dr. to gain weight. When I was about 22 I was 116lbs and was extremely happy with myself. I was in a great place in life, all around.
Years later, age 28, I found out I was pregnant with my 2nd child. (Prenatal 106lbs) after I gave birth I was 128lbs but found I was quickly gain weight. What baffled me even more was it was after I gave birth. Well, during my pregnancy I was unable to hold down foods and what I could eat I ate very little. Doing this caused my body to go into starvation mood and now my body just wants to hold onto anything and everything... Lucky me!
Here I am. Postnatal at my highest weight of 153lbs. I'm not the confident girl I use to know but I want to be her again. I'm done wallowing in my own self pity and beginning a new chapter for myself. My healthy lifestyle.... Here I come.

Eat like half back. You DON'T want a deficit that's too extreme. MFP already calculates what you need to consume to lose weight WITHOUT exercise.

Start with about 75% of them. The estimates for exercise burns tend to be a bit high. Give it about 4 weeks and see what's happening, then adjust up or down depending on your goals and actual results. Make sure your goals are reasonable. Just because the program has a 2lb/week goal, doesn't make it appropriate for everyone. Make sure your logging is accurate. That seems to be one of the top reasons people don't lose. Finally, read the posts stickied at the top of the getting started and general diet forums, the ones called most helpful posts. I know it was more than you asked for, but thought I'd share.

Thank you @nutmegoreo I appreciate any and all the helpful tips that you or anyone is willing to give. I too though the calories burned was a little high myself becasue my google app has a lower burn rate. Your tips are very useful. Thank again.
@ninerbuff congrats on losing 5lbs... So exciting... Also, thank you for your insight. I found myself waking up from hunger pains at night so I'm deff gonna at least eat half back so I'm not so hungry anymore. Thanks again!
