They can be cute sometimes. It depends on the facial structure. But it's definitely NOT appropriate for work. Garden work and at home, it's fine.

IDK find the whole little girl fantasy quite disturbing. It's like a pedo's way to live out the fantasy without going to jail.

Well I find your comment rude. My boyfriend loves when I wear pigtails because it makes me look girly and innocent. Finding girly and innocent attractive DOES NOT equal being attracted to little girls.

I find it cute when my boyfriend doesn't put product in his hair for the same reasons (except substitue girly for boyish), that does not mean I'm sexually attracted to little boys.

I'm sorry your boyfriend is a pedophile, and that you want him to be a girly boy. Actually. . post pictures.

    BWAHAHAHA!
I love how easily people get offended on here. Relax. Ooof.

Do braids count? I do pigtail braids when I go out because it stays out of the way and cool and DOESN'T give me a headache. :) And they are going in as soon as I get home.

Definitely counts. With braids, you can hold and pull harder too ;-)

Also, has anyone added some roller skates to this movement? If not, I would like to nominate them, with pics! For uhm...er...research. Yeah, research.

ETA: Knee high socks & 70s inspired attire not required, but highly preferred. Still for the research! xD

When I was in college, my friends and I had what we liked to call “The Ponytail Relativity Rule”. In short, it stated that you could determine the relative intelligence of a woman by the position on her head where she wore her ponytail. If it was tied low on her head or at the neck this represented an above average level, middle of the head to low indicated average, middle to high was below average, and a top knot or pig tails meant “The lights are on, but nobody’s home”.

While I will admit there are exceptions to every rule, this proved to be true far more than not.

damn my engineering degree must have been given to me based on how well I could blow... I missed out on this "pony relativity" rule!!!

people in school used to call them my p0rnstart pig tails. LOL wonderful.

I <3 pigtails- they are great for lots of things. fur sure.

What about when women wore their hair differently on different days? How did your brain comprehend that conundrum? I suspect that your brain was not able to note the day to day difference, that would be too much work and require memory and thinking. You probably think more like a gold fish. Oh, a woman, oh a woman, oh a woman.

When was the last time you saw a woman, regularly, change the position of her ponytail? In my experience we are all creatures of habit and tend to perform the same tasks in the exact same manner. Changing these behaviors requires a conscious effort that most people are too lazy to do.

Although I will admit to being overrun with Testosterone, as are most males in their early 20's, and being constantly distracted by the opposite sex. I always paid particular attention to a woman appearance and could easily identify changes in their appearance.

Lastly, this rule applied most commonly to "first impressions" and did not necessarily apply in every case.

Wait! What? You had GIRLS in your engineering program. I don't think I saw a single girl in any of my classes after sophomore year. I must have gone to the wrong school.

Aww. This makes me miss the days I had hair long enough to rock the pigtails.

Sadly I hacked it all off. Maybe after my vacation in September I will grow it out again.

You say you have experience with women, but you think that women do not change the position of their pony tail? When was the last time I saw a woman change the position of her ponytail? I am a woman and I wear my hair differently. I change the position and type of ponytail depending on the circumstances of what I am doing and also the length of my hair influences where I can wear a ponytail. The length of my hair sometimes needs to be changed for reasons outside of my own preference. Also, age sometimes factors into the equation (the position preference can be changing continuously at different ages). We are not all creatures of habit. Even if we are in some areas, hair is an area in which women choose to make constant changes and try out new things. You don't know as much about people as you think you do. Your understanding is limited in a way that may mean your experience with women has been rather boring.

lol of course- and all the BJ's and lap dances too. Duh- women aren't smart enough to do math unless it's for baking 1/4 cup 1/2 cup etc etc

I was the only CE- we had like 2 ME's and one EE I think- not many- add to the fact that I was at a military school... that percentage of women was like SUPER skewed.

I actually only ever had mine like that for PT or after hours. They wouldn't' fit under my cover that way LOL
