Hi, I'm Shannon, and I have a lot of weight to lose. I'm starting over on MFP because the best success I had was when I was logging everything, getting 10,000 steps a day, and was active on this community.

Long story short my life went to hell for a while but I'm back in a place where I can focus on my own well being.

So... Hi!

  • I have a similar story. Whenever I track my calories, I am able to lose or maintain my weight. I usually use a notebook. Today is day one for me using this app. My current goal is to lose 45 pounds.

    I hope that you stay strong and keep connected! We all can totally do this. It is just math! I know that is way easier said than done, but I feel determined, and I hope to spread some of my positivity!!!
