I have a spinal cord injury

Hi all,
I am working in an IT company. A few weeks ago, I fell from the stairs in my office and injured my spinal cord.
The doctors have asked me complete bed rest for at least 2 months. Since I am the sole income earner in my family, things will get affected because I will not be able to go to work for around 2 months. We are planning to approach a spinal cord injury lawyer in Vaughan for helping me seek compensation for the ongoing health care and rehabilitation and for the loss of income. The doctors have instructed me to be in bed all the time.
What are the things that I need to be careful now? Is there any other treatment that I could do so that I recover faster? I want to recover soon and get back to work.

Please don't ignore a physician's advice on something this serious. I wouldn't trust any medical advice read on a random internet forum frequented by knuckleheads (present company included).

Take care of yourself. Money is a renewable resource; your health is far more important.

    Godspeed.

In regards to food, I would be eating at maintenance level, and ensure that you're eating a nutrient dense diet... For treatment, you'd need to talk to your Dr about a treatment plan, and for rehabilitation advice

I've been bedridden twice for, 2 years each time during; my late teens & early 20's because I've Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS). While I was lucky to never've a bedsore they're common so, ensure that fresh air circulates; your entire body daily & avoid becoming, moist anywhere! Also consume less calories than, what's your normal as to not; gain weight via inactivity!

adhere to dr's advice, see a physio and OT (or yank equivalent). Prolonged bed rest brings its own complications which Is something I would most definitely raise with the physio. depending on the severity, complete or incomplete, the physio should tailor something for you. Good luck!

Edit: I just spied the link! maybe an advert?
