Does the calorie count for a tin of tuna in brine mean the weight of the tuna AND brine or the weight of the tuna once brine is drained off. Cant seem to find this info. Sorry if it's obvious to everyone else

Look for the entry that says something like "Tuna, canned, in water, drained solids" for the drained weight.0

I've only ever used the USDA entry for tuna, or frozen entries that are drained of water. The food itself, without brine. (Most whole foods are best added using database entries that have USDA in the name and correspond to the official nutritional information.)
The brine would just be salt and water, and not worth any calories, so you want to eliminate that weight.
You don't need to worry about salt/sodium unless you have medical issues that necessitate it.0 -
iv always drained it then weighed the tuna and logged according to the tin info0
