A couple favorites:
- Hard boiled eggs! I make a dozen each week for my husband and I to take in our lunches or have as snacks between meals. They're a cheap, easy, low-calorie protein. They also do fine unrefrigerated for a few hours in a lunch sack. It's easy to mix up the flavor: sometimes I eat them with salt and pepper, or spicy mustard, or let peeled eggs marinate overnight in ponzu/soy sauce.
- Greek yogurt is a favorite, too. I mix raspberry Tillmook 2% Greek Yogurt with 1/3 cup of Nature Valley Oats & Honey Protein Granola, for 21g protein/290 calories.0
