What does this mean?

When I walk it says 16:22/mi. Confused and new to working out.

    16 min AND 22 sec to walk 1 mile. It's your speed.

    That's not too bad because I have long legs and can walk a 15 minute mile so nice going.

    To be a picky pants, it's actually your pace, it is an indicator of how fast you are going but is used by runners to ensure they are not speeding up or slowing down. Time/Distance = Pace......Distance/Time = Speed.
