Weight gain after hospitalization for sulfa allergy

Hi all,
Wondering if anyone experienced rapid weight gain after being hospitalized for a sulfa drug reaction. I received blood platelets and steroids during my stay, 4 days, and since that time about a year and a half ago, gained 30 pound with no change in diet or exercise.

Someone else I know had rapid weight gain after being hospitalized for the same thing. Wanted to see if anyone on here had the same issue and how/if it was resolved.
