Syncing MyFitnessPal w/ MapMyRun

How in the world do you sync workout results from MapMyRun to the MyFitnessPal? I've tried connecting. Says it's connected, but no data transfers. Please someone hold my hand and walk me through this process from beginning to end! Thanks in advance.
