Exercise calories

I just rejoined MFP about a month ago and I am trying to lose a bit of weight. I am on the 1200 calorie plan with MFP. My question is this...
Am I supposed to eat my exercise calories or is that what I bank on for losing weight? If I eat them, do I eat all/most of them or is it okay to have leftover calories at the end of the night?

You don't have to eat all of them, but it is recommended.0

If you go by the 1200 calorie MFP sets you at you're supposed to eat back all of your exercise calories so that you NET 1200 calories.0

What I do is, I'm allowed 1440. Even though I will have extra exercise calories, I still try to stay under 1440. If I go alittle bit above, its okay. But I try and stay under it.0

I've never seen this before. But it is great. Just really, really great.0 -
Since MFP doesn't give anyone a number below 1200 I think it's important to be eating back the exercise calories.0
