Today I managed to go out and jog! I managed approx 8-10 minutes and enjoyed it. I only stopped as due to having four children I have bladder problems. I want to be able to jog more often and wondered if anyone had any tips?! Also jogging is this good cardio? I enjoy walking and can walk for miles which I know burns calories but I guess not as many as jogging and or running would do.

I'd def recommend following a Couch to 5k plan - it makes it really fun and keeps you motivated :) I started about a month ago and was amazed I could run for more than a minute the first day!

Way to get out and do it! Jogging is excellent cardio. Plus, you don't need a gym membership to do it! As for the bladder problems, if it's not simply having to go to the bathroom and it's something more specific, I'd recommend talking to your doctor to find ways to help suprress the issue while you run. Although, if you're having the problem of having to go in general partway through your run your body may get used to 'holding' it a little more as you jog, and if you get really focused on your jogging you may forget about it. Try re hydrating more after the jog and a little before it. I can only hydrate about 40% through my elliptical routine or I have to interrupt it to go to the bathroom. Hope your jogging goes well!

Up until today I have only ever been able to jog on the spot! Which at first was literally a couple minutes but now I can jog up to 30-40 minutes with the right music
