Hi all. Haven't posted to this group yet (at least I don't remember posting! ) ah the joys middle age! I am currently almost 40 lbs overweight and have been struggling with it for quite awhile. After dinner is my danger time and my problem is I just like eating! I know what I need to do but I let my mouth be in control. Hoping that if I log in daily, read others struggles and successes enough, it will help me get my control back. Thanks for letting me air myself out!

    Welcome,
Set yourself a reasonable goal of 1 lbs a week, get yourself a food scale, and use it - all the time (measuring cups and spoons for liquids only).

It doesn't matter what you eat (work toward meeting your nutritional goals) or when, so if after dinner you need a nibble make sure you have some calories spare.

A lot of people find preplanning, preparing and logging their food for the day keeps them within their goal.

Don't beat yourself up if you go over, just log it and carry on, most of us have done it on occasion.

    Cheees, h.

Welcome fellow old person. I'm 62 and if I can do this so can you.
Log every time you eat and you will lose...the age won't make a difference just be sure to get
proper nutrition since us old folks break easy
