Jogging first mile done!

Yay managed to jog a whole 1.3 miles today!! Stopped and walked twice for something like 50 seconds in the first five minutes and then managed to jog right to the end and up a steep incline to the end of mile 1.3 mile track! Loved it and then went on to finishing usual 5 mile walk! Lamb dinner for tea later with loads of veg and proper gravy!

    You might find a structured programme like the c25k will yield quicker results. By quicker I mean stretching your distance quicker whilst not causing injuries.

    Congratulations!

    I took the same approach just adding more run distance to my walks.

    Good job, and keep it going.

    Thank you! This jog/run was ok but I know coming back up the track there's a small incline so will definitely be harder coming back that way!
