Breastfeeding and Nighttime Snacking

So my health nurse told me that it is important to snack before bed to keep up the nighttime supply. I'm not sure how I feel about this, my supply seems to be okay when she is ready to eat around 3-4am. I stay up late, usually after midnight, and the last time I have a (healthy) snack is around 10. If I were to eat something right before going to sleep, does anyone have any suggestions, something that is maybe more easily digested while sleeping, yet satisfying? Right now I really badly want to eat a rice cake, but there's really no nutritional value there.

eating healthy is all you need to do. if you are already taking in the extra calories daily to adjust for BF'ing then you dont need to eat before bed. your supply is based more on how often and when your little one feeds not on what and when you do.
