Clarification PLEASE?? (So i can stop worrying)

Ok, so, I just need some clarification. (plus i have a couple of questions)

I'm extremely paranoid. Every time i try to stick to my diet, and excessive, I start to think if I'm Exercising right, or enough,
I'm not eating in my calorie range (I'm always low), am I not gonna lose weight, Then i get
scared and give up. =/ I start getting worried that my metabolism is slow and nothing will work

Also, (and some people may not agree with this) But, under the Nutritional Goals settings. It say's I need to reach 1,880 Calories. Is that accurate? Not saying that it isn't, but then I go onto another calorie counting site and it says I need a totally different amount of calories in order to lose weight, then that just adds on to my worries.

I've also heard that if you cut back 500 calories from your diet you can lose weight. So if I cut back 500 calories, then
I only have to consume 1380 calories? (But if you stick to that calorie range for to long, your body will get use to it, and
if you eat more then that you'd gain weight? :( )

and 1 more thing. I'm trying to see some weight come off at the end of August. I know it wont be alot, 10 pounds or so. if I burn 500 calories on a treadmill, lift some weights, and slowly add in work out tapes- 3 times a week (slowly progressing to everyday workouts)Will I see some change by the end of August?

Also is it true that it doesn't matter what you eat or what time you eat it, as long as it's in your calorie rage, you can have it? (Not like pizza and cake everyday, but every once in a while). Sorry for bombing you all with questions, I just want to be able to stop worrying about everything )
