Try Dr Bernstein's Diabetes Solution. It's a low carb higher fat plan to reduce insulin needs. If you eat very few, or even no carbs, you will not have low BG unless you've taken too much insulin. Of course a fast dietary change can be dangerous so if you switch to LCHF, go slow.
